Svetlana Shadrina is the second choreographer at MESS. She works with groups B, C, and D.
Svetlana studied at the Yakut Choreographic School named after Axinia and Natalia Poselkskiye. After the graduation, she was enrolled in the Yakut Opera and Ballet State Theater as a ballet dancer and choreographer. She performed in all of the theater’s repertoire plays, premiers, participated in tours, choreographed dance scenes for opera pieces. At the same time, she was attending the Arctic State Institute of Arts and Culture majoring in directing and choreography as ‘Choreographer-Tutor’. She also taught gymnastics, rhythmics and contemporary dance in the Yakut Choreographic School, as well as the preparatory course for kids aiming to enter the School.
Svetlana worked as a choreographer of cultural events, TV shows, and concerts. She continued her studies in GITIS’s musical theater faculty under Dmitry Bertman, majoring in ‘Directing in musical theater’.
Сurrently Svetlana is a member of ‘Young Choreographers’ Lab’ in the Drama and Directing Center in Moscow. She attended DASS Contemporary Dance summer school in Lisbon and took part in master classes ‘Context by Diana Vishneva’ 2017 and OPEN LOOK DANCE 2018 in St. Petersburg.
Svetlana also worked as a choreographer at the classical dance schools such as ‘Russian Ballet’, ‘Lil Ballerine’, ‘Pirouette’, ‘RythMix’ in Moscow. Apart from that, she teaches closed groups and individual classes concentrating on developing dancers’ skills, hosts international programs, master classes, laboratories, and regular classes.
